This unique journey starts in the UNESCO World Heritage site Luang Prabang. You will explore this old town with your guide before going upcountry. You will visit the famous Pac Ou Caves before travelling to Muang La where you will stay at the exquisite Muang La Resort. In the vicinity of the resort you will visit fascinating ethnic minority villages before embarking on a boattrip through stunning limestone scenery on the Nam Ou. The tour ends in Luang Prabang where you will stay the last night.

This trip is designed for adventurous, hardy travelers, wanting to see more of Laos. Starting with an introduction to the famous Thai kitchen, then overnight train to Northern Thailand, we take you across the Mekong River, through the jungle-clad mountains of Northern Laos to Luang Nam Tha, on the border with China. Here you go an a hike through the Nam Ha Nature Reserve. 

The trip ends in Luang Prabang, one of the gems of Southeast Asia. Here you can visit Kuang Si waterfall where turquoise water on the limestone rock clatters down.
